I like how with this set they’re trying to bring the damage cap back down to 120.
TCPi, please never let me use the phrase “back down to 120” again. 120 is still too much damage to be hitting as quickly as we can right now.

I’m talking before Dark Claw and Special Dark are applied. The attack on its own, without any other effects, caps at 120.

This is a really cool card. A T1 possible 160 damage is broken, power creep or no power creep.

I don’t think this is broken, Zoroark only has 100 HP, and needs some setup to inflict a lot of damage.
It might even not be a top tier because it is a level 1. It also doesn’t reach some magical numbers (170 against Mewtwo, for example).
I do think it will be played because it is a really good card, but I don’t know if it will be a top tier or not.
I hope it will be a top tier because it would change the current metagame where evolutions are only there for support and not for attacking.

Trust me, I’ve been testing Dark.dec since Regionals and it’s really awesome because if you go first and get Zoroark going, you can steamroll them if they don’t get something going quick.
Also, it may not hit for magic numbers against Mewtwo with Brutal Bash, but people forget about Dark Rush. Mewtwo even touches this without 4 energies attached, it dies next turn.

I honestly think Pokemon Collector and Dual Ball getting rotated will make it harder for this card just because you lose the speed to getting basics on the bench, and dark deck needs all the speed it can get.
